Spencer West is an intern for KJZZ. He hails from San Tan Valley, Arizona.

West is a second-year student at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. He had his first experience in radio with Blaze Radio, ASU's student radio station, where he now holds the position of assistant news director. West is also active in ASU's student government, where he works as the director of student outreach on the downtown campus.

In his free time, West loves to watch films at his local movie theater, cheer on his favorite Los Angeles sports teams and shop at vintage clothing stores.
